Printing and converting a campaign

The leaflet prints from your browser, and when someone replies you turn that campaign into a real project without starting again.

  1. Print it

Open the campaign and choose Print. It opens your browser’s own print dialog — set paper to A5, scale to 100% (not “fit to page”, which shrinks the render and leaves white margins), and turn on background graphics so the dark panels print solid.

  2. Print double-sided, short edge

If your printer flips on the long edge the back will come out upside down. Short-edge binding is the setting you want. Print one to check before you run fifty.

  3. Drop the street you are working

Deliver while your van is still outside. Respect “no junk mail” notices. The van, the scaffolding and the leaflet together are the proof — separately they are just paper.

  4. Convert a reply into a project

When someone gets in touch, open that campaign and choose “Convert to project”. It becomes a normal project — you can then add the real survey photos, the client, measurements, pricing and a contract. The campaign render stays with it as the thing that started the conversation.

Tips

  • A QR scan is a measurable response, so you can compare one street against another instead of guessing.
  • If you sign a customer up at their kitchen table, that is an off-premises contract and statutory cancellation rights apply. See the guide on raising a contract.
  • Campaigns live in their own tab, so they never clutter your real jobs.
