Rendering an extension or loft

Building Works renders let you show extensions, lofts, porches and more — built onto a real photo of the property so the rest of the house stays exactly as it is. (Building Works is a Pro add-on.)

   Start a Building Works project

   From the vault, tap “New Project” and choose “Building Works”.

   Upload a photo

   Add a photo of the property from the angle the works will be seen. No photo? See “Rendering from drawings”.

   Mark the works area

   Outline where the extension, loft or porch will go on the photo so the render places it correctly.

   Describe the works

   List the improvements and materials — e.g. “single-storey rear extension, brick to match, aluminium bifolds”. The more specific, the closer the render.

5. 5

   Generate

   Generate a photoreal render of the completed works, then wrap it in the same branded brochure as a window job.
